This blouse dress, crafted from original Kasuri fabric, combines masterful textile craftsmanship with contemporary elegance. The weaving technique, where threads are partially dyed before weaving, creates delicate, blurred patterns that lend the lightweight cotton fabric an extraordinary depth. The unique fabric, an unused remnant from the 1950s, is a true rarity and a piece of Japanese textile history. The refinement achieved through the dyeing and weaving process gives the lightweight material a subtle firmness, granting the dress its clean contours.

Details: Faced placket with over- and underlap. Hand-stitched snap closure. Welt pockets. Two hand-fixed belt loops. Seams finished with hand-cut bias tape. Sleeves feature “fish” padding. Skirt section with eight pleats. Sleeves and skirt hems blind-stitched entirely by hand.
